Up for sale is this Atlas / Clausing 6BVS 5HP bed mill. This is a low hour machine that was bought new in 2001. This has not been used in the last 5 years and since new it has only machined graphite. Has power feeds, rapids and brake on all axis. The motor is variable speed from 55-3650 RPM and is inverter controlled from the operators panel. Has power downfeed on the Z axis. The spindle is a standard CAT 40 taper and included with the machine is a box of tool holders. Machine is coolant ready and has an auto lube system. Table is 60″ X 12″ and has a 2000 pound capacity. This machine has a Kurt power drawbar installed as well as an Acu-Rite DRO unit. This is a very nice unit that is $36,000 to buy new. Many of the original manuals and paperwork are included with the machine.
