2000 Bridgeport 2HP Milling Machine

Up for sale is this model year 2000 Bridgeport knee mill. This is a 2HP Series 1 that has the 2J variable speed head with an RPM range of 60-4200. This has the large 9″ X 48″ table as well as chrome ways on the Y axis. It is equipped with a 2 axis Acurite DRO with SENC 150 glass scales and a Bridgeport 8F power feed for the X axis. This has a Bijur manual lubrication pump for way lubrication and an adjustable work lamp.

This machine appears to be in good condition and seems to have been taken care of. I have powered it up and everything seems to function as it should. There are no marks or mishaps on the table and the original flaking is still visible. The power feed on the table works as well as the power feed in the head. There were no abnormal noises in the spindle or drivetrain as I ran it through the spindle speeds. The back gear works great as well. I do notice the table movements get tight at the extremes of travel which is common for these machines when the work is always in the center of travel. 

This machine is powered up and local inspection is encouraged.

2001 Mitsui MSG-200 MH Surface Grinder

Up for sale is this Mitsui 6″ X 12″ surface grinder (MSG-200MH). This is in nice condition and everything functions as it should. This still retains the original hand scraping on the dual V ways of the saddle. This is a 2001 machine that was installed new in early 2004. This came from a single shift injection mold shop. This surface grinder runs on either 208V or 230V 3 phase power. The grinder has a factory installed Sony LH51 single axis DRO with the high precision SR-128 glass scale on the Y axis. This is equipped with a Walker 6″ X 12″ LBP fine pole electromagnetic chuck with variable strength controller. In addition, included are the cast iron leveling pads with threaded adjusters. Mitsui is the best of the best and to purchase new this machine would cost over $25,000!

This machine is equipped with an automatic lubrication system so there is no need to pump a lube pump. This features a hand scraped dual V way saddle, double walled column construction and heavily ribbed Meehanite castings for added rigidity. This is a roller way table for extra smooth operation.

Bridgeport 2J Replacement Head

Up for sale is this genuine 2HP Bridgeport variable speed 2J milling machine head. This came off a low hour 1986 Bridgeport knee mill in which the customer replaced this with a 3HP aftermarket unit. This is in great condition and has the original paint. I have rebuilt the upper head with new belts and bearings and the lower end is all original. This is an R8 spindle and the quill is in great shape. All the power feed functions work as they should. The variable speed works just like it should as does the back gear. The head runs through all the speeds easily and I do not hear any abnormal noises at all. This is ready to bolt on and use.

2004 Okamoto Linear 618B Surface Grinder

Up for sale is this 2004 Okamoto Linear 6-18B 6″ X 18″ surface grinder. This is in very nice condition and everything functions as it should. The spindle is whisper quiet on this machine and the paint is in great condition. This still retains all the original hand scraping on the dual V ways of the saddle. This is a dual voltage machine and can be set up on 230V or 460V 3 phase (wired for 230V currently). This is equipped with a Walker 6″ X 18″ LBP fine pole electromagnetic chuck and Walker variable strength chuck controller. In addition, this has the Micro Vertical Feed option for down feed increments of 0.00005″. Also included are the 4 cast iron leveling pads with threaded adjusters. 1983 Series I 2 HP Bridgeport Milling Machine

Up for sale is this 1983 Bridgeport Series I milling machine. This is 2HP and runs on 230V 3 phase power. This is the desirable variable speed J head model. This is in great condition and is coming out of an R&D lab environment with little use. The paint is all original and has never been repainted. This has a 9″ X 42″ table as well as hard chrome Y axis ways. This has an Acu-rite dual axis DRO with SENC 150 glass scales as well as a Servo brand X axis power feed. Also Included is a 6″ Kurt D60 made in USA milling vise with speed handle (rotary table is NOT included). The table is in great condition with only one end mill mark present but flaking is visible throughout. Everything is smooth on this machine and it really is in nice condition.

This machine is powered up and available for inspection. All the feeds work as they should and the spindle speeds are adjustable and quiet in all ranges.

Scotchman CPO 350 Variable Speed Cold Saw

Up for sale today is this Scotchman CPO350VS cold saw. This is a very heavy duty saw that is made in the USA. This is in excellent condition and came out of a research company’s R&D lab. This was bought new and was not used much. This is a variable speed saw (11-177 RPM) which is a $2000 option on its own. This takes a 14″ saw blade and is equipped with a 5 HP motor. This is wired for 208V 3 phase power and has a coolant pump and chip tray. Everything works as it should, this saw is ready to use. 1977 Hardinge HLV-H Lathe

Up for sale is this Hardinge HLV-H tool room lathe. This is 230V 3 phase and is 1.5 HP. The spindle is infinitely variable from 125-3000 RPM and it has the tapered Hardinge 4 degree spindle. I bought this machine some time back from a closed factory in Dayton, Ohio and I have never plugged it in or tested it. My intention was to fix and resell but I have not been able to find the time to do so. This is being listed as a “mechanics special” & sold as-is so please purchase knowing it will take some time and work to get up and running. This has an Anilam Wizard 111 DRO on both axis but again, condition is unknown. I do see that the power feed motor was removed at some time but this looks complete otherwise. All the dials and levers move as they should and the spindle rotates freely. This machine is certainly worth the time to fix as the normal price for an HLV-H of this age is $13,000 and up!I have a forklift and will load a trailer or semi at no cost. Palletizing fee is $250. The machine is available for inspection at my shop just outside of Milwaukee, WI.

This lathe also has the large metric threading gear box cover. With a metric banjo and the appropriate change gears this lathe will thread metric thread pitches.

Hardinge HLV-H Lathe

Up for sale is this Hardinge HLV-H Super Precision Tool Room Lathe. This is a good, tight, & original machine and has never been repainted or abused. This machine was purchased new by a large tech company out in CA and was operated by one man its entire life. I purchased this from that man.

This is an early 1980’s machine that has many late model features such as a tapered Hardinge spindle, wide bed plate with teflon lined carriage, ball bearing carriage rack gear and more. This machine is 230V 3 Phase power. This machine is in good mechanical condition and is ready to be used right away. All the power feeds function as they should and the gearbox works as it should. The oiling lubrication system functions as it should as well. This lathe comes with the pictured tooling, including 2 trays of 5C collets. These are all different sizes and styles but the large majority are Hardinge brand. Other accessories are available such as taper attachment, steady rest, chucks, tool post, etc.
